The evolution of Bollywood in the 1930s, had many social, economic, technological and cultural impacts, caused by the rise of Hollywood.  It had numerous rippling effects throughout India and worldwide, consequently advancing into a multibillionaire industry. Today, Bollywood is internationally recognised as an emblem of Indian culture, convention and expression.
